Hello! We’re a small, family-run estate winery beneath the Pilgrims Way on Kent’s North Downs, with 60 acres under vine across two sites: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, Regent and our signature grape, Ortega. Every bottle is made on site from our own fruit, with minimal intervention and wild yeast fermentations that express the individuality of our Kentish terroir.
Winemaker Adrian’s experimental, instinctive approach to winemaking and commitment to authenticity have made him one of the most innovative voices in English wine. Galia brings her design background to Westwell’s distinctive visual identity, creating intricate, monochromatic illustrations inspired by microscopic details of the winemaking process. Her creative work extends to collaborations with locals such as skincare brand Pelegrims, who use Westwell vine sap and grape skins in their award-winning range.
Together, with our brilliant team, we produce an eclectic range of sparkling and stills from traditional method and pet nat to skin contact and amphora-aged wines.
Our philosophy is simple: plant well, respect the soil and make great, honest wines from brilliant fruit.
